Anna Strehlow

Anna was a competitive soccer player at the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota), serving as team captain (2011-2013) while earning her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in 2016 (Minnesota).

After transitioning to running and triathlon in 2016, Anna dominated the amateur ranks with 2 overall wins at Ironman distance and 3 at Half Ironman distance. She became both USAT National Champion and USAT Long Distance National Champion in 2021, then qualified for Kona at her first attempt in 2022, placing 3rd in her age group as the top American with the fastest amateur marathon split.

In 2023, Anna turned professional. She has earned 10+ top-10 finishes and competed at the 2025 Ironman World Championship. She has been recognized as a Notable Woman in Sports by Milwaukee Business Times (2024) and received the REACT Award for compassionate care at Froedtert Hospital (2023).



Coaching Philosophy & Experience

Anna brings her unique perspective as both a Doctor of Physical Therapy and professional triathlete to her coaching. She understands the physical toll of training and works with athletes to build sustainable performance that keeps them healthy and strong.

Her approach is individualized and holistic- looking at physical capabilities, movement patterns, mental resilience, and emotional well-being. Anna helps athletes unlock their potential by building unshakable self-belief alongside physical strength, teaching them to listen to their bodies while pushing beyond perceived limits.
